PROFILE

The BCC was established in 1993 with the aim to be a local partner of the international consultants coming to Bulgaria to support the Bulgarian national, regional and local authorities in the transformation process towards modern democratic public organizations.

We offer tailor-made services to our clients and partners helping them to develop and implement projects and strategies for addressing the most important issues of our time – the sustainable development and economic growth. Among our clients are governmental entities, international organizations, businesses, educational and nonprofit organizations which want to be competitive and successful in their fields by applying sustainable approaches.

We work with more than 50 experts in different fields of the economic life. This gives us the unique advantage to be able to establish a well-working and highly qualified team of experts for each specific project that we have. Moreover we work in close cooperation with a lot of well-known and experienced EU companies which gives us the benefit to be up-to-date with the newest developments and practices in the other countries.

One of our main aims is to provide high quality services and we have a certified quality management system for the purpose.

Mikhail Stoyanov, manager

Mr. Stoyanov has graduated Architecture in Sofia. He has many years of experience in the field of architecture and design. He has specialized in energy efficiency and energy management at the European Institute for Ecological Energy in Herning, Denmark.
Mr. Stoyanov has extensive experience in the field of energy efficiency and project management. He has been a team leader and project manager of numerous international programs in the field of environment and energy efficiency. He is well acquainted with the full project cycle, including development, evaluation, monitoring, checking and reporting of completed projects.

Stela Zhivkova, PhD, project coordinator

Stela is with us since 2004. She graduated International Economic Relations and Project Management in Sofia and in 2014 she became a Doctor of Economics with an International Business profile. Stela began her professional development with us as a technical assistant on the company's international projects and step by step she took over the overall coordination and organization of the projects. She is familiar with the entire project life-cycle from finding funding for the project and drafting a project proposal to the overall implementation and reporting of the project. Her interests are related to sustainable development, environmental protection and various management and business practices where she has a number of publications in international journals.
