Assessment of the results of the energy sector measures funded from the Kozloduy International Decommissioning Support Fund for the period 2001-2016 The main objective of the project is to review, assess and present the results of the energy sector measures financed by KIDSF from 2001 to 2016, focussing on four key aspects:• Review, summary and assessment of mitigating effects • Assessment of energy related impact of measures • Assessment of Greenhouse-gas impact • Assessment of achievements of objectives and fitting into priority areas The assessment included review and analysis of more than 35 Grant agreements and more than 250 projects in the energy sector of Bulgaria including district heating rehabilitation projects, energy efficiency in public buildings, energy efficiency of street lighting, Power generation and distribution, Energy efficiency in industry and mining, Natural gas supply Funding: European Bank for Reconstruction and Development |

Assessment of the achieved energy savings in the office building of the National Center for Information and Documentation/NACID/, etc. in Sofia The assessment of the achieved energy savings is done by an energy efficiency survey in line with the requirements of Ordinance № E-rd-04-1 from 22.01.2016 for energy auditing, certification and evaluation of energy savings in building, etc. To prove the energy savings achieved, an assessment of each of the implemented measures is carried out through the following indicators: A. Amount of energy saved at the energy end-users; B. Quantity of saved primary energy resources by type of energy resources; C. Quantity of saved carbon dioxide emissions by type of saved energy. Multi-beneficiary Programme on the Energy Efficiency Finance Facility for Bulgaria, Romania and Croatia (EEFF): Energy Efficiency in the Industry Sector in Bulgaria. The aim of the project is to provide access to funding for public and private companies in the industrial sector in Bulgaria for improvements in their energy consumption. This is done by disbursement of loans for replacement of equipment and/or implementation of energy efficiency measures. Our experts had the task to perform an energy efficiency assessment before loan disbursement and to determine weather the project is eligible or not. After the completion of each project a verification assessment is carried out in order to prove the project result. Funding: European Commission and KfW, Germany |
